I had a problem with an item I had purchased but it took just one quick email for my problem to be resolved quickly and efficiently. The response was almost instant and the resolution was the same. Well done Hannah Turner Ltd.

Absolutely shocking customer service and crooks. Returned an item just before Christmas as it wasn’t suitable. Sent it on the 23rd knowing it wouldn’t go until the 27th and e-mailed them to let them know and sent the proof of posting. Heard absolutely nothing from them even after new year, e-mailed 2 times just to check it had made it back to be told they wouldn’t be doing any refunds until the 8th. I appreciate that people need time over Christmas and new year but they could have at least said that in the first place or said that on their website, social media, anything. Comes to the 8th and they refused the refund due to the items being damaged in transit. “Dave” their customer service rep, said that “in his opinion” it was my poor packing that caused the items to be damaged and asked my “thoughts”. To which I rightly explained I was annoyed it had been damaged in transit and hoped I read wrongly that he blamed me. It was ceramics which were in their original box, in cardboard protective sleeves (all of which they come in), I then wrapped them in brown packing paper and put them in a brown paper package parcel and wrapped that in sellotape. Being a company that says they are “eco friendly” I thought the cardboard and paper wrapping would be better appreciated instead of plastic bubble wrap (of which I have none) but no. When I asked if I was getting a refund or not after no response/follow up they simply said no and then explicitly blamed my packaging for that. So they now have the items and my money. Total and utter crooks. They find their way around any blame of damaged in transit upon return as well by making you pay for the postage return, absolving them. I would not touch this company in the slightest. Just so underhanded and completely wrongheaded in their way to run things. There has been no offer of even a partial refund, no offer to send the items back, just a retention of over a hundred pounds that I paid and the items. I sent my own “opinions” back as to what I think happened as they were very quick to pin blame and refuse refund and informed them of contacting trading standards as this is not on. No idea how a company can operate this way. Complete crooks and rip off merchants. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. Update: At my request, after silence and refusal, I got the pigeons back. Although the reply below sounds apologetic, they are still blaming me and saying I packed it wrongly. To me that’s just bad business practise. Apologise or don’t. Doubling down whilst saying “sorry” isn’t an apology. It’s just another show of how awful it is to deal with them. I would like to point out as well that I didn’t deal with Hannah directly and had no correspondence with her, so as far as I can tell she is typing second hand information in this reply. “Sorry” but that’s just how I see it. My review stands. I would also like to point out that I’m not in the habit of reviewing business’. That’s how much I would strongly recommend spending your money elsewhere.

I love the toadstool range and am very pleased with my purchases. So far I have, 3 storage pots, the butter dish and the salt and pepper. They look beautiful and are fabulous quality. The order process was very easy, tge packaging was of the highest quality and delivery was on time

I'm so glad I discovered Hannah Turner and her wonderful ceramics. They're all so unique and quirky. I have the flying puffins on my living room wall and they make me smile every time I look at them. I've recently bought the turkey tree decoration and salt and pepper set at gifts, both are great. Will definitely be buying more from Hannah Turner in future.

I bought the fish teapot for my very hard to buy for mother-in-law and she loves it! She was devastated when she caught the lid with her sleeve and it got broken but I was able to buy a perfect replacement lid. I've got her a matching storage jar for Christmas and have my very own fabulous owl teapot.
